Organizational Structure

The organizational structure of the Sharjah Sports Council is based on a clear hierarchical framework that ensures integration between leadership, executive departments, and specialized sectors. At the top of the structure is the Board of Directors, followed by the Chairman, and then the Secretary General who oversees the various departments, ensuring harmony between planning, implementation, and monitoring. The Council includes key departments such as Sports Affairs and Development, Sports and Community Events, Strategic Planning and Performance, Government Communication, and Support Services, in addition to supporting offices such as Legal Affairs and Internal Audit. This structure reflects a balanced distribution of responsibilities, enhances decision-making efficiency, and supports the Council’s objectives of developing the sports ecosystem and strengthening its community role in the Emirate of Sharjah.
