About Sharjah Sports Council
The Sharjah Sports Council was established by Emiri Decree No. (34) dated 1 November 2006, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as an independent non-profit sports authority with legal personality and financial and administrative independence, headquartered in the City of Sharjah to achieve its objectives.
The Sharjah Sports Council strives to realize its vision of making Sharjah the capital of Arab and international sports culture, and to spread its mission of raising the sporting level of youth, developing their talents, and advancing sports in line with the principles of Islam, moral values, and national objectives through various initiatives and sports projects.
